About Our Club

Francis Scott Key Jr Eagles Soccer is an organization of volunteers who work with the West Carroll Area Recreation Council and the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks to provide recreation opportunities in the Taneytown, New Windsor & Union Bridge area, as well as surrounding areas.

Mission

We are a youth soccer league offering boys and girls ages 3-17 a positive environment to experience soccer.

Through the combined efforts of parents, coaches, players and community, the FSK Jr. Eagles Soccer program strives to achieve these goals:

• To maximize each player's soccer skills through a positive and comprehensive instructional program.
• To strongly emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and commitment to a higher level of play.
• To provide each player the opportunity to fully understand and enjoy the game of soccer, to develop friendships, and to experience the pride and satisfaction of being part of a successful program.                                                                                                                       
• To make the game fun and instill the importance of a strong work ethic in each player.
• To emphasize player development over winning.   
  

Offered Programs 

Clinic: 
Clinic is for 3-year-olds. Clinic is an in-house program, meeting once a week. The focus is on developing an understanding of the game in a fun and supportive environment.

U6: 
The U6 Co-ed division is an in-house program for players in Pre-K and Kindergarten, meeting once a week with a few "games" near the end of the season. Focusing on enjoyment and fostering a love for the sport. Coaches strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that keeps children motivated and interested in playing soccer.

U8:
The U8 Co-ed division is an in-house program for players in 1st and 2nd Grade. They meet once a week for practice and will have several weekends of games!  The goal is again focusing on enjoyment and fostering a love for the sport. Coaches strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that keeps children motivated and interested in playing soccer.

URSL:
The URSL Soccer program consists of the following divisions. U10 which is 3rd and 4th Grade, U12 which is 5th and 6th Grade, U14 which is 7th and 8th Grade and Highschool. These teams could be all boys, all girls or co-ed.  Placement on teams depends on evaluations at the beginning of the season. Coed teams may play all boys teams. URSL division will practice in Taneytown with games in Taneytown and the Frederick County Area.
